Nashville singer-songwriter-guitarist Rich Mahan new album 'Hot Chicken Wisdom’, released June 21, 2019, debuted at #1 on the July 2019 Relix/Jamband Radio Chart and was #1 on the August Chart too. It has received heavy airplay on Roots/Jam/Americana stations nationally. The Nashville Roots Rocker describes his music as “Children’s Music for Adults.”

'Hot Chicken Wisdom' is the follow up to Mahan’s 2013 debut 'Blame Bobby Bare’, and is filled with more of his witty, delightfully gregarious personality. An accomplished songwriter, recording artist and performer, Mahan crafts songs that are soulful, frequently humorous, sometimes irreverent and rhythmically diverse. Rich's direct lyrics, impassioned vocals and deft guitar work form his signature sound and set him apart from other Nashville-based artists.

Rich Mahan's music conjures a similar vibe to Delbert McClinton, Warren Zevon, Hayes Carll, Little Feat, Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen, and his favorite, The Grateful Dead. You’ll hear influences from 70’s FM Rock and Pop radio, as well as Outlaw Country from that same era.
