Erin O’Dowd is a singer-songwriter and producer from Tulsa and Nashville. Her debut album OLD TOWN, made with Travis Linville and featuring John Fullbright, barreled onto the scene in 2018 to the hail of “Best New Music” by American Songwriter. With rave reviews including a second front page feature from PopMatters, the album weaves together the artist’s own treasure trove of hometown stories, along with haunting tales of the region’s past. Tulsa means Old Town in Creek.

She’s opened for Kenny Rogers and Lloyd Maines (The Chicks), and was invited to perform at BMI’s 2018 Key West Songwriter’s Festival alongside Leigh Nash of Sixpence None The Richer and Robert Earl Keen. In 2019, she was commissioned to host a Bob Dylan tribute show to promote the legend’s upcoming Heaven’s Door Whiskey Distillery & Creative Center. In 2022, she placed in the Top 5 in Audacy’s Opening Act Competition.

Erin O’Dowd’s completely self-penned music is becoming known for its genre-bridging approach to American Roots Music, combining influences of old school soul, classic country, 60’s and 70’s folk, and rock and roll.

She possesses a rare ethereal talent that can quiet loud dive bar, drawing others into her realm rather than trying to fit into theirs. Whether she’s wailing the blues or fearlessly tossing in an cappella number, she frequently  wows audiences to silence with her fresh approach to rich and lucid storytelling.

She’s currently writing and working up her highly anticipated follow up, with exciting endorsements and radio play continuing to build across the world.
