Mike Younger, Nashville singer/songwriter, worked his way up from street performer to a recording artist with critically acclaimed works and radio success who has performed at the Ryman in Nashville, The Kennedy Center in DC and The Beacon Theatre in NY. He is once again showing the creative versatility that exists at the core of any enduring artist.  Younger's 4th recording project “Little Folks Like You And Me”, produced by one of Nashville's great guitar wizards Bob Britt (Leon Russell, John Fogerty, Bob Dylan, Delbert McClinton) was released July 21, 2017. The album debuted in the Top 5 Most Added Albums to Americana Radio and is receiving airplay throughout the country.

“He's the next of us!!” - Nanci Griffith, artist

“No-shit poetic realism with a tendency to museum qualities...” - Rodney Crowell, artist

“Y'all need to stick with Mike...he's the real deal...” -  Levon Helm, artist

In keeping with the rapidly shifting landscape of our collective reality, "Little Folks Like You And Me" heralds a return to an era of social relevance and discourse in the arts and in music.  Mike Younger's music carries with it a message reflects his own involvement in community-based activities that support the “locally grown” food revolution and the environmental justice movement. Deeply rooted in the traditions of folk, blues and country music, the tone and rhythms of this work resonate equally with 4H-ers and farmers, townies and roustabouts, motorcyclists and equestrians, rockers and folkies alike....
